Two days ago (June 19th, 2015) the VEKN released the eighth issue of the VEKN Newsletter with a variety of information regarding VTES, VEKN and related matters.
Of Interest to Scholars and Slanderers:
Congratulations to Brian Moritz for winning the 2015 North American Championships! A full report of the NAC and the Week of Nightmares is coming soon!
We’d also like to take a moment to note the recent passing of John Forbes Nash, a famous mathemetician and game theorist. He is known for the Nash Equilibrium, which provides a way of predicting what will happen if several people are making decisions at the same time, and if the outcome depends on the decisions of the others:
Design Team News:
Playtest for the upcoming Anarchs-themed set is underway! Round One will wrap up at the end of June, at which point we’ll review the feedback, make the necessary adjustments and corrections, and get ready for Round Two. If you’d like to hop in as a playtester, please contact our Playtest Coordinator, Hugh Angseesing, at squidalot (at) hotmail (dot) com.
Artwork for the new set is underway, as well! We have six completed pieces already, and ten more pieces have been assigned to artists. More pieces will be assigned as we get further along in the playtest process. If you’re an artist and you’d like to volunteer to work on a piece or two for the set, please contact our Art Director, Ginés Quiñonero, at damnansvtes (at) ono /dot/ com.
